Spicy Hummus, Quick Spread
1 lb green gargbanzo beans simmered and drained
2 tbs. tahini sesame paste
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 tsp. crushed pepper flakes (optional)
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/2 lemon, juiced
Pita or French bread grilled or toasted and cut into wedges for dipping. Compbine beans, tahini, oil, pepper flakes, cumin, coriander, garlic, salt and lemon juice into food processor and mix into a smooth paste. Transfer into a small dish and surround with warm bread or pita wedges.
