Elegant and yet sweetly exotic, our spider orchid box comes with two lovely potted orchid plants, the Brassidium Fangtastic Bob Henley ‘Kalapana,’ and the Degarmoarara Memoria Jay Yamada ‘Kauai.' Grown and shipped all the way from the small, sleepy Hawaiian village of Kurtistown, these unusually beautiful orchids will thrive on your window sill with only a modicum of care and watering. The long, thin sepals and delicate, spidery petals of bright colors give these ancient flowers their name. The eco-pots in which they are planted are all natural and biodegradable themselves.

Brassidium Fangtatstic Bob Henley ‘Kalapana’ – A huge spider flower on a 3’ spike in the 4" pot.

Degarmoarara Memoria Jay Yamada ‘Kauai’ – An intergeneric oncidinae consisting of  Miltonia, Brassia & Odontoglossum  that produces big approximately 7 3-4 inch flowers on an 18-24’ inflorescence. This is a very vigorous grower with multiple pseudo bulbs in the 4” pot.

Eco-Pots

Eco-pots are composed of 85% rice hulls and natural binding agents (starch-based, water-soluble binders and biodegradable additives). There is no heavy metal, benzene or any other toxic ingredient involved during the production of these pots. Formed by the hot press method, these pots will last anywhere from 3 to 5 years depending on usage. There is no industrial pollution generated during manufacturing and there is no waste as all scraps are re-used. Eco-pots will biodegrade and can be composted back into the earth.

The rice hulls along with organic, environmentally friendly pigments give these pots a very natural texture, look and feel.  Our custom made eco-pots are economical and earth friendly with a classic look!
