Burchell Nursery was born in 1942 when Irvin Burchell and his wife ventured their savings to start a small nursery at their family home north of Modesto, CA - in the hear of the fertile San Joaquin Valley. Today, Burchell Nursery combines the best of two worlds. The experience and proven success of yesterday, along with the innovations and sophistication of tomorrow, to create the world-class nursery they are today.

A third generation farmer, Tom Burchill now runs Burchell Nursery in Oakdale, CA. Tom joined the nursery full-time in 1990 and became president after his father's retirement in 2004. Burchell Nursery is proud to offer FromTheFarm.com customers the highest quality bare root fruit trees.
