Maltitol Syrup

Our sugar-free products are sweetened with Maltitol syrup, a natural sweetener derived from corn.  The corn is “hydrolysized” (heated to high temperature in order to change it’s molecular structure), infused with hydrogen (hydrogenated), and the result is a natural product that tastes sweet but is absorbed more slowly than sugar.

Sugar Free Lemon Curd Sauce Ingredients:

maltitol, eggs, margarine (liquid soybean oil and partially hydrogenated soybean oil, water, salt, whey, soy lecithin, vegetable mono and diglycerides, sodium benzoate and citric acid as a preservative, artificial flavor, colored with beta carotene, vitamin A added), unbleached flour, vinegar, lemon juice*, natural lemon flavor, baking powder (bicarbonate of soda, USP).  Excessive consumption may have a laxative effect. *Adds a negligible amount of sugar.
