The Organic Satsuma Mandarin is the earliest citrus fruit from Deer Creek Heights Ranch, but one of our favorites.  This sweet, seedless and easy-to-peel mandarin originated in the Satsuma province of Japan. Deep orange to red in color, Satsumas have a sweet-tart pulp with much lower acid levels than other mandarin varieties. They’re hand picked when sugar levels are at their prime. Enjoy eaten out of hand, in salads, custards and desserts.

Storage: Delicate mandarin oranges will keep at room temperature for one to two days and up to a week if stored in the crisper drawer of the refrigerator.
