Good things come in small packages.  These walnut-sized boiler onions are generally cooked whole and are popular in kabobs, stews, side dishes and pickled recipes. Boiler onions are slightly larger than pearl onions, usually measuring 1 inch to 1 ½ inches in diameter.

Storage:

Store onions in a cool, dry, ventilated place – not in the refrigerator. Do not store onions in plastic bags.  Lack of air movement reduces storage life.
